The Company’s stem cell technology includes cell lines, supporting products and methods for generation and differentiation of stem cells into products with application to treatment of numerous diseases such as heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. While the Company’s technology represents a platform with broad application to several medical markets, the present business model focuses on the commercialization of products targeting high margin, niche markets in research and drug development that do not require FDA pre-market approval. We intend to market these high margin products in the near term to provide revenues and profits that will be used to support further expansion of the product line while at the same time building upon our proprietary technology that expands our patent portfolio targeting key advances in stem cell therapy for cancer, diabetes and other degenerative disorders. The stem cell field is rapidly expanding especially in light of the current US government position lessening restrictions on embryonic stem cell research while at the same time promoting this research through enhanced economic stimulus funding. We are presently developing a series of products to provide critical components to support this research. We also plan aggressive marketing of these products and we are a small, flexible company that can rapidly expand our product line to meet the demands of this rapidly changing and evolving market.
